If at all an applicant is rejected without an interview, the candidate can expect the decision on the decision date of that round.
Fee waiver was only for International applicants right? So the 20% jump mostly attributed to international apps? That would be crazy competition for us!!
It has got nothing to do with re-applicants. Last year R1 saw a decline in apps. because of covid and F1 fiasco. Also note that McCombs gets around 2000 apps every year for a class of 250 or so. The school is pretty selective already

I don’t think there are any grounds to think that. It depends a lot on the order the applications are being processed, especially with fee waivers and transcripts uploads on GIAC
