Did anyone get an interview invite for Round 2 yet?


Not yet. I actually submitted my application in R1 but due to unavailability of TOEFL score, the application got pushed to R2. I submitted my TOEFL score on 10th Jan and still waiting for interview invite.

Did anyone ever get meaningful status update when called the school desk? I always heard that Admission committee will contact you if you are selected for interview.

Right now waiting is like driving in the dark tunnel without knowing whether I will hit & die or I will see the light at the other end. Difficult time...........:-)

Did anyone get an interview invite for Round 2 yet?

I understand your pain. The Illinois MBA adcom doesn't have a set date in each of the rounds in which it announces interview invites. Interview invites are random and haphazard. In this regard, the Illinois MBA makes life hard for applicants. I would have loved it like they do at other programs....like you wake up on a specific date and receive your ding or interview invite. It lessens the uncertainty, the anxiety. I commiserate with you guys....

Admitted ! :) R2

Can anyone elaborate on the Placement opportunities for international students at UIUC plz.
I'm a little concerned on the batch size and the recruiting companies that come there for international students in particular.

3)What I am doing right now. How my skills align to that position
4)Weakness - Strengths
5)roles taken in the team
6) How do I motivate my team
7)Hobbies
8) Anything not covered in resume/application that I would like to highlight.
9)Questions to Adcom

There were no case studies.

Waitlisted. My interview was good and I was really hoping to get admitted to Illinois MBA.

Illinois MBA is my first preference and I really want to convert myself from waitlisted to Admitted.

The question is to fellow waitlisted friends: What did you do after knowing that you are waitlisted? Any idea about conversion ratio from waitlisted to admitted at Illinois MBA?
