I have just started preparing for gmat. Does my gpa affect my gmat score? Will my academic gpa be considered while calculation my final ranking?

Your academic GPA would be considered in your overall cumulative profile score. You can't anything with your GPA now. Low GPA will be compensatated with high GMAT score. So please work on GMAT rather than worrying on GPA.

A strong GMAT score(90-99 percentile) always compensates for a lower GPA; However, You If you score a lower GMAT( worst case scenario) you might as well take up some short courses/diploma in your field and perform well in it.

Your GPA is not used in the calculation of your GMAT score.

Try to get as high a GMAT score as possible!!

All the best!!
