I have just started preparing for gmat. Does my gpa affect my gmat score? Will my academic gpa be considered while calculation my final ranking?

I don't know what you mean by final ranking, but your GPA and GMAT both matter while evaluating your profile. GPA cannot affect your GMAT score. If you have a bad GPA, there's nothing you can do about it. Just focus on GMAT and try to improve your profile and present your case in the best way possible. It's not the end of the journey!

GPA considered final ranking: if you mean it as admission process in the University==>
Admission in the US university is totally a holistic process. If your GPA is not so good, then it still will not destroy your admission chance in any specific university if your profile is more stronger in other side. I mean if your GPA is poor, then your GMAT score, work experience, Extra-curricular must be good enough so that you can exceed other students. But, there are some university, which directly says that you must have a specific GPA (e.g., 3.00 out of 4 in bachelor) to apply to the university. If this is the case then your GPA is matter.

No, there is no relation with GPA when GMAT score is finalized.
