Hi Admission Consultants,
I think you are looking for a formula where there is none. I managed the WL for UNC Kenan-Flagler for some pools and here is all I wanted to know-- an update with how the candidate is stronger-- confirmation that they are truly interested-- then when I went to look at my WL I knew those things and could factor it into my decisions. I would try to find a "champion" at each place-- someone that will know who you are-- maybe your interviewer-- and hopefully be aware how much you want to attend and is rooting for you from the inside. Best wishes!
I need your help in determining what should be the format of the recommendation form for the wailisted candidates.

I am specifically looking for Tepper, UNC and Rotman.

Here is the current information I have:

1. Tepper: They did mention that we can ask our recommendor to send them a new letter to a specific email ID. But format is not mentioned.

2. UNC: They asked for the profile updates but not explicitly the letter.

3. Rotman: They didn't mention anything.

My questions are:

1. Should we search for the questions on clear admit and send them in the same format?
2. Should we send them in the form of just an application? If yes, what all should that include?
3. If schools didn't ask for the same, should we still send them?

Thanks StratusMBACounselor for the reply.

Unfortunately, my message is not yet delivered correctly to you. :(

I am aware of all the points you mentioned as well as I am not looking for any formula.

My question here is: What should be the Additional Recommendation Letter Format under the conditions I mentioned in my original post. :)

Did I confuse you?

Hi @abhimahna, I feel your pain! Being on the waitlist is not fun... but on the bright side... you are still in it. I think this article written by our MBA Admissions Director Susan Cera will help you approach all your waitlist options: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... wait-list/
I think the key thing to keep in mind is Less is More.... put one well done email where you address anything that is new and also assures adcom that you still want to be in the class! But if you do too much-- email every week, call all the time.... you run the risk of annoying adcom and that won't help you. So do your best in updating-- then trust in the universe to guide you to where you should be.

Hi StratusMBACounselor ,

Thank you so much for the reply.

Fortunately, I am aware of all the points you mentioned but here my ask is a bit different.
Sorry- I can't help you any more than this. If you are unsure of a format the school wants- ask them directly. You are missing my larger point--
which is that you need a champion more than you need to make a form letter perfect. But if they want specific things- you are best getting that from the school-
and each one might want something different. Good luck! I don't think I can help any more than the above.

I am looking everything specific to additional recommendation letter, especially for the scenarios I mentioned above.

Any insights on that?
