What are the factors to weigh here?
Depends on location: UT is very valuable for the Texas network, but Ross has a very tight alumni base everywhere
Industry: Energy and Consulting in Texas has a heavy McCombs presence but Ross definitely sends more to MBB. Tech is about even in terms of percentages. Austin has a good tech landscape. CPG Ross definitely takes it
Money: Ross would be 80k more with cost of living included. But will that be made up after a couple additional years and even more worth it after because name recognition and alumni network?

Agree, it is not just about the School and Money. There is a bit more involved and more info required. With the info you have provided, it likely is on par comparison. However, some folks have made clear decisions in favor of a stronger program and others have made a choice to save $$ at all costs.
