Hi
afrahgmat,
I just have evaluated your profile for LBS and I think you have put your profile on the right forum, as I was suggesting earlier. I have given feedback on the aspects of your profile that you should highlight. Your stats, assuming you achieve your target, are fine for Stanford too. Your post-MBA goals and your career experiences are the most important to make you fit for Stanford. For Stanford, try to highlight the following:
Intellect: While your GPAs and GMAT are considered, you need to highlight more about your intellectual curiosity, your initiatives, ability to challenge the status quo.
Strong Leadership: Demonstrate strategic thinking, initiative, persistence, results orientation, and the ability to develop others.
Personal Qualities: Highlight your values, passion, beliefs in terms of how you can contribute to the Stanford community. (Also, the essay questions of Stanford)
Also, try to mention what qualities you feel are lagging in you to start your entrepreneurial journey and how a particular school will help you achieve the same (mention curriculum, projects, clubs of that school in this part). What’s going to matter most in your application is how you connect all the dots and build a great story. Feel free to
book a free session with us as per your convenience.
Cheers!

Hey! I would be really grateful if anyone can evaluate my profile.
Why I want an MBA: Short term goal is to transition into strategy/general management to work with highly driven team, explore how organizations formulate strategies and learn more about business. Long term goal, entrepreneurship, I want to work in Central Asia, specifically the Silk Route, develop the long lost art and work with artists around this route. Why specifically Central Asia, since I'm based in Afghanistan, I had privilege to see the long lost art that has been shadowed by the decades of war. I want to contribute to the emerging economy of Afghanistan.
Why I want one now: I believe that I have had leadership roles but I need more grooming and need to learn about management, strategies and network to different individuals.
Target schools: LBS, Tuck, Yale SOM, Duke, HEC Paris.
Background
Work experience: Teach For India Fellow - 2 years (similar to Teach For America)
Director Fundraising, Teach For Afghanistan - 1 year based in Kabul, Afghanistan
Independent Consultant for 1 year - India/ Kabul, Afghanistan
Operations Head and EA to the CEO - Social Enterprise unit of USAID in Kabul, Afghanistan (1 year)
My experience has mostly been into not for profit and social impact across two countries Indian and Afghanistan.
GRE score: will give it a week, expecting 320+
Extra curricular : Professional Mountaineer, Actively involved in Startup eco-sphere in Afghanistan, documentary photographer.
Undergrad school/major: Bachelors in Engineering. I have an hons degree - 7.89/10 CGPA
Nationality: Indian
Age and Sex: 27 Female
International Experience: Based in Afghanistan since two years.
Languages: I'm fluent in 5 languages (English, Urdu, Persian, Punjabi and Kashmiri)
Concerns: I'm unsure about the schools and the round I should apply in. I got rejected in R3 INSEAD for January 2021, may be due to huge influx of applicants and deferral. I was recommended by INSEAD Alum to admission team. Now, I'm bit scared now to apply in other schools. Concerned about the high competitive pool of Indians.
Can you please suggest which schools I should focus based on my profile, safe schools and ambitious schools?
Thanks!
