Statement I and II are clearly insuff..
Combined..
p can be 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95. In these numbers, 88, 90, 92, 94 are even, 91=13*7, 93=3*31, 95=19*5. Only 89 is left

What is the value of the integer p?

(1) p is a prime number.
p=2,3,5 etc- no unique value for p

A is insufficient

(2) 88 ≤ p ≤ 95

p=81,82,83 etc- no unique value for p
therefore B is insufficient

combining A and B
p= prime number between 88<p<95

p= 89

therefore C is the correct answer!!

in case you are having a difficulty in checking whether a number is prime or not you can follow this simple step:
calculate (n)^(1/2) and take its succeeding integral value = y,
for ex. n = 89
y = 10
now check only for numbers in range (2,y) including 2 and y,
if you find any factor then it is not a prime..

in this way you need not to check for all the numbers between 1 and 89
