for x intercept y = 0.
Hence,
2y=8x-14
=>0 = 8x -14
=>x = 14/8 = 7/4

To determine the x-intercept, we substitute 0 for y:

2y = 8x - 14

2(0) = 8x - 14

0 = 8x - 14

14 = 8x

14/8 = x

7/4 = x

Answer: D
