\(11^59^5 – 2(10^5)\)
\(≒ 10^510^5 – 2(10^5)\)
\(= 10^{10} – 2(10^5)\)
\(≒ 10^{10}\)

Therefore, the answer is E.

Asked: Which of the following is the closest to \(11^59^5 – 2(10^5)\)?

\(11^59^5 – 2(10^5) = 99^5 - 2*10^5 = 100^5 - 2*10^5 = 10^5(10^5 - 2) = 10^10\)
