Hi there,
My exam is just shy of a week away. My first attempt was a 680 (Q46, V38? I cannot remember the scores exactly as I cancelled them). Since then, my quant section currently hovers anywhere between 49-50, depending on how I feel that day; either I make one or two calculation mistakes or I do everything right only to overlook a part of the question stem.
My verbal however, has been suffering greatly. Over the two mock exams, I had a V42, followed by a V34. Throughout the entirety of tests from
e-gmat and the mock exams, my strength in verbal sections vary widely. On some days, RC is my strongest, some days SC is the strongest then CR is the strongest. I seem to have difficulty finding consistency over the verbal sections. One thing I've noted is that during my last mock exam, I had much difficulty keeping my mind focused and words were scrambling all over the place. Hence, SC was my strongest section (92%) since they were shorter sentences while RC/CR took a big hit.
Does anyone have any advice on how to rectify this situation? I feel like I got the strategies down, studying and knowledge is mostly concrete. Perhaps I am just burnt out? Shall I practice more full length verbal sections only for the next few days?
Any advice will be highly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.
