Strengths:

I used it extensively for the Quant section teaches everything from the basics, and strengthens your fundamentals so much that you can tackle any advanced problem.

I was completely lost with the Quant section before I tried Target Test Prep, but this course seriously pulled me up. They start so basic. Breaking down ideas that most courses assume you already know, then build your skills slowly but smartly, never skipping steps. The video lessons explain why something works, not just how, and there’s no shortage of practice questions that range from easy to brutal. My weakest spots got exposed, and I began to understand my mistakes instead of just repeating them. The study plan is a lifesaver. It tells you exactly what to do, when, so you’re never wondering where to go next.

Beyond all that, TTP gives you deep analytics: you see patterns in your errors, how your speed is changing, and exactly which topics need more work. (They go into more detail than most GMAT review platforms I've seen.)
Test Prep Insight. The interface is clean, and your progress is tracked — that helps a lot with motivation.

TTP is Best

Strengths:

Clear roadmap, excellent questions

Would make the product better:

Ability to do mock test sections with multiple filters (medium/hard questions only, DS questions only, new questions only, etc.)

If you need to get a good GMAT score quickly, TTP is the only platform you should use. One stop shop for all prep aside from live practice tests. Great lessons, but really the breadth and depth of practice questions for both Quant and DI are the best part about TTP and what makes it unique. The analytics feature was also a great way to identify places to improve, and as I got closer to test day, being able to create mock dedicated Quant/DI sections was crucial. My recommendation would be to get through the lessons sequentially and as quickly as possible to understand content, and then go back and review as you do practice exams.

Strengths:

I used TTP for 90% of my GMAT prep and was very happy with the results. I scored a 715 - they do a really good job of being comprehensive with the types of questions asked on the GMAT.

Would make the product better:

The Data Insights chapter tests could use a few more tests

Overall, I am very happy with Target Test Prep. I scored a 715 on my GMAT Focus Edition and attribute most of my success to TTP. I primarily used the Chapter Tests and felt that they were very comprehensive and similar to the actual GMAT test and practice exams. I would strongly recommend the course to other students looking to ace the GMAT. Target Test Prep's review course is also very helpful for learning concepts that you may be rusty on or have not learned before. Target Test Prep + practice exams should be more than sufficient for your entire gmat study.

Nothing comes to mind

Overall, I’d highly recommend TTP! In just one month of focused study, I went from a 635 to a 685 on the GMAT Focus, and TTP was the key driver of that improvement. The platform gave me a systematic way of thinking through questions, which made a huge difference under time pressure. On Verbal especially, my efficiency improved noticeably—I was able to answer more quickly and with greater confidence after only a few lessons. The structured study path, clear explanations, and detailed analytics kept me on track and showed me exactly where to focus my efforts. If you commit to the process, TTP delivers real results.

Strengths:

Great course, specially helps if you are weak in verbal and gives systematic approach to solve quant and DI questions

Would make the product better:

No chapters on Necessary and sufficient questions, lately such questions are asked in CR, DS, TPA

The Target Test Prep GMAT course is an excellent resource for anyone preparing for the exam, especially if you are looking for a structured and methodical approach. The course is well-organized, breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable lessons that make learning more efficient. What I really appreciate is the way it systematically builds your foundation in both Quant and Verbal. If you are someone who feels weaker in Verbal or needs a more disciplined path for Quant and Data Insights, this course provides exactly that.

The explanations are thorough, easy to follow, and emphasize not just solving problems but also understanding the underlying logic. This makes a huge difference when tackling more challenging GMAT questions. The course does require time and commitment—at least six months if done properly—but the effort is absolutely worth it.

One area where I felt there could be improvement is the inclusion of dedicated lessons on “necessary and sufficient” concepts, since these appear in CR, DS, and TPA. Still, overall, Target Test Prep provides an outstanding framework for mastering the GMAT.

Strengths:

Target Test Prep is exceptional for GMAT preparation - I scored a 100 percentile in Quant, all thanks to TTP. It emphasizes fundamental concepts, ensuring a solid understanding. The extensive question bank offers ample practice to boost confidence and accuracy, making it a top choice for focused, strategic preparation.

If you are just beginning your GMAT preparation, I would strongly recommend starting your journey with Target Test Prep (TTP). It is one of the most structured and comprehensive learning platforms available, especially for quantitative preparation, but it also provides guidance across all sections of the exam. What makes TTP particularly effective is its step-by-step methodology, well-explained lessons, and detailed practice problems that build both conceptual clarity and test-taking skills. The platform helps you develop strong fundamentals before moving on to more advanced applications, ensuring that there are no gaps in your understanding. For anyone who feels overwhelmed about how to start, TTP offers a clear study plan, making it an excellent first step in GMAT prep.

Strengths:

Target Test Prep (TTP) is an exceptional GMAT prep platform. Its structured, comprehensive curriculum breaks down complex topics into digestible lessons, reinforced by hundreds of practice questions and analytics that track performance. The interface is user-friendly, and the custom study plans are ideal for disciplined, goal-driven learners. TTP’s emphasis on mastering fundamentals before advancing ensures deep understanding and consistent score improvement.

Would make the product better:

A mobile app would be even easier to use on the go

Its the holy grail. Go for it. As simple as that. Its a bit on the expensive end but completely worth it. Stick to their study plan and follow it religiously. Do not cheat with the tests. Go through each one of them. Everyone speaks about Quant but Verbal is great too. Make it a point to pick up on the common themes they point out in Verbal. These themes will help you spot trends on questions and get to the final answer. I do not even need to talk about Quant. Its super comprehensive. Going through the quant section ensures you know all concepts required for the exam.

Nothing

The TTP platform creates a study plan for you based on the amount of time you say you have available each day, and so you can focus on the most important things: studying and understanding every concept and topic you need to reach your target score.
At the end of my TTP plan, I focused all my efforts on Error Tracking and it helped me a lot to reinforce some concepts that I wasn’t confident about. The ability to create some mock tests using only the questions I got wrong was a very important tool in my journey. The tests at the end of each chapter helped me build my confidence daily and prepared me for managing the time I had for each question.

When I started the TTP course, I knew nothing about the GMAT. After six months of study, I scored 715 on my first attempt. TTP was absolutely essential to my success.

Verbal: Consider adding more questions to the bank

Target Test Prep was critical in improving my GMAT score by 100 points in 5 months! I took the GMAT with essentially no prep in January 2025 and scored a 615. Following that, I searched YouTube for GMAT prep recommendations and stumbled upon TTP. I studied using the self-study plan for 5 months, approximately 10-12 hours per week. At the end of my studies, I was able to score a 715!

The study plan is very thorough (yet not excessive) and there are a plethora of practice problems of varying difficulty that do a good job of simulating the exam. My original intent was just to study the Quant section; however, I was impressed with the DI/Verbal sections and significantly improved my score on both of those as well.

TTP was a huge help in my GMAT Focus journey. When I started, I took a mock exam and scored a 535, but I wasn’t very familiar with many of the concepts tested on the GMAT. Over the next 2–3 months, TTP helped me build my foundation from scratch and reach a 685 (96th percentile). Their structured approach, clear lessons, and especially the emphasis on repetition and mastery made all the difference. The course taught me how to actually learn and retain the material, not just recognize patterns. I’m truly grateful and highly recommend it to anyone starting from square one or looking to improve their score.
