40 days to go :
Gmat Prep 1 - 580 Q42 V28
Target Score - 680

Note- Every time I've taken a sectional verbal CAT, I've managed to score above V30. (GMATclub and Jamboree tests)

Resources used/ available : 1) OG 2020
2) Manhattan strategy guides.
3) Powerscore CR (Just started)
4) GMAT prep Tests (5&6)

Along with working on my stamina, What must I do? Should I take up an expedited program? If yes, which one do you think would suit me best? Given the time left for my exam. I understand that it's a tall order and I need to work on both sections.
You can do an expedited program if your concept is not clear enough in various section otherwise you don't need it.
It's hard to increase verbal level within this short period of time if you take much more time to find the meaning of any sentence. How about your reading habit?
You can watch few videos of 'thursdays with Ron' from youtube to make clear the concept.

Bail on Jamboree! They’re terrible. I wasted 4 precious months trying to have their material work for me until I finally bailed. TTP fast track study mode for Quant. Aristotle Prep for SC and Powerscore CR. Should be great! Seems like you have serious conceptual understanding issues. Go through your GMAP Prep exam and review the one you’re getting wrong. Read about that topic a bit and move on. GMAT club tests are your best to shoot up Quant above 45

Hi faizansari30,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
3) When is your exact Test Date? Are you taking the At-home GMAT or are you taking your Exam at a Testing Facility?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi faizansari30,

Out of curiosity when did you take the GMAT Prep practice exam? Also, can you provide some more specific details regarding how you have been studying? Lastly, if you had to, could you push your GMAT exam to a later date?

Hi Scott,
I took the exam on the 13th of July. Prepared approximately for a month.

I had just gone through some MGMAT strategy guides and solved the OG 2020. I've just opted for the TTP trial. It seems nearly impossible to complete within 40 days though.
Yes, I still haven't fixed a date yet, If I can't get relatively close to the 680 mark in a month, I'll apply for schools in the second round. (December)

How do you suggest I prepare for verbal?

Hi Faizan,
I was there in your situation a few months ago. I scored a 570 in my first official GMAT test. I was shattered and I was looking for a 100 point improvement. That's when I got to know about GMATWhiz and a couple of people who improved their score by more than 100 points in 40 days.
I took the course eventually and scored a 680. You can give it a try. It comes with a personalized study plan which will suit you in this case as you have 40 days. All the best !

Hi Faizan,
With 40 days to go, 100 points improvement can be challenging, but it is possible with the right approach. With my experience of helping students improve their score by more than 100 points in 40 days, I can share a few insights here.

Looking at your score, there is a scope of improvement in both Quant and Verbal. The official GMAT prep tests are the most reliable ones, so lets just stick to the score you have got in that. The scores indicate that you might be having a few conceptual gaps and also you might not be using the right strategies to solve the questions. And coming to the resources you are using, they might be great resources for the questions but to understand the concepts and learn the strategies, you need to have one standard resource which helps in your overall preparation for GMAT.

If you are open to studying using an online course, I would suggest you to check out GMATWhiz. It comes with a personalized study plan which is integrated with the course. The concept booster and the practice help you solve GMAT style questions using the right methodology. The AI technology provided you with real time improvement modules for every topic so that you can overcome your weaknesses right away. There are many more exciting features which you can check by registering the free trial of GMATWhiz.

The main idea of GMATWhiz is to teach you the methodical approach required to solve the GMAT like questions. It first teaches you the strategy, then goes on to an individual topic. Working on weaker areas is something which you have to do to score a 700 on GMAT. This is done with ease by GMATWhiz as I mentioned in the earlier paragraph.

I’m attaching a video of a student who improved her score by 130 points in 40 days.

Honestly, I think you should give TTP another shot. Especially because we now have verbal as well as quant. If you can get through even a nice chunk of the course I'm confident your score will improve. If you have any questions about TTP, feel free to reach out.

Hi faizansari30,

Since it's been almost 2 weeks since your first post in this thread, have you taken any additional practice CATs/mocks since then? If you have, then how did you score (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

In addition, before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
