Hi, I just applied for R2. Any idea, on average, how long do they take to call to interview? (I know they say they can call up to a couple days before decision date, but is there an average on time?)
Hey there! I had applied in R2 and got my interview invite in February. I think you can expect to hear back as long as until February end or the start of March. Good luck, everyone, you've got this!

I am quite surprised that Anderson is asking for official score (IELTS in my case) at this time. I have just received interview invitation for R2. They also asked for official transcript and certificate. I think this should be sent to Anderson when I get admitted, right? I only have one official transcript and one certificate, how could I send to them if I don't know I get accepted or not?
I think what they mean by an "official" transcript is that your university directly sends them a copy of your transcript stamped and in a sealed envelope. Usually, universities should have a facility for this and are happy to do so for a fee. This is the same with IELTS and GMAT; they have a facility to send the official score over to the university.

From the Anderson chat group, I see that at least a few others were asked to send official scores(those who got interview invites) and official transcripts(those whose undergrad is in the US).

I have sent an email to Anderson to make clear. In my case, I will only have ONE SINGLE official bachelor degree for my entire life, so there is no way I could send it to Anderson. Let's wait and see the feedback.

Hi Everyone,

Can you tell us when your interviews are scheduled for? We are planning to do an Interview prep session with a Round 1 admit. We are wondering about when we should do this session? If you can tell us your interview date, it will help in prioritizing this session.

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ucla-anderso ... 46595.html

Thanks.

I was invited to UCLA Anderson's round 2 interview last week (had mine on Wednesday) and was also required to submit official documents. In this case, UCLA is asking for the documents to be sent directly from the candidate's university. The documents required are

1/ Official diploma or a certification letter.
2/ Official transcript.

They can be sent electronically or physically, but the sender has to be the university itself. Previously, I tried sending UCLA scanned copies of my diploma and transcript but was informed those are not eligible. Hope this clears up some confusion.

Hi Nikhil, I just received the feedback. The admission officer informed me that the transcript or the diploma (native) should be sent directly from an officer from my undergraduate school. The same is true with the translated transcript, it should be sent by the translator. All these documents I mentioned before could be send electronically through email of the university officer or the translator. UCLA said that they wanted to have someone that could provide additional information in case they really need it.

Hope it is helpful for you guy.

Does anyone know: Once we have done the interview and submitted copies of our official transcript should expect to hear back within a specific time frame? Meaning will admissions decisions be made on a rolling basis or will everyone be notified on March 26 (the official Decision release date)?

so after the interview, does a current student reach out to congratulate you on the interview? Should I respond to this or is this some auto-generated note, it's from a real student's email but looks like copypasta to me

Usually they call admitted applicants a couple days before decision date to give them the news. But all applicants will be notified on March 26 on the application status page.

Yeah that makes sense. I didnt find any specific new information. However, I checked last year’s admission’s data from the admission tracker and it looks like everyone only found out on the 25th or the 26th of March. So still a long time to wait!
