The logic from adcom because booth accepted around 30% of applicants If you are interviewed, you have roughly 50% chance statistically of getting in (60 to 30) Obviously that Stat is misleading depending on how strong your profile is So the pipeline look like - 100 applicant - 60 interview and 30 accept (on percentage basis)

Yes and it’s also depending on the market and geographic you are coming from Obviously in some overrepresented market, the bar is much higher so I’m sure in certain market, the perception is that interview is much more scarce

Yeah if it was a coin toss, but it isnt though. So prep for interview. I have an excel sheet with a story/example for everything from weakness to a time I went above and beyond. Then at least I wont be blindsided by «formal» questions. You also gotta be able to do some small talk with the interviewer(s) without getting super awkward or saying something that would reduce your chances. Posted from my mobile device
