Fellow Desautels-mate,

I have been waiting for almost a month and a half now since my application completion and there is nothing but just pin drop silence. I reached out to the admissions committee informing about the other offers I have & it would be great if you can expedite the process for me so that I take the best decision for myself. The committee was accommodating and accepted my request. However, it has been more than three weeks since they accepted my request and haven't reached out yet

What do I do in such a situation?

What do I do in such a situation?

I think it depends whether Desautels is your number 1 target school or not. Can you ask for a deadline extension in the other schools you were accepted at? The admissions committee is probably swamped right now between end of R2 and start of R3 decisions. Maybe drop them a nice reminder e-mail to see what's happening.

I have told the committee that Desautels is #1 on priority and they know it. In fact, I have dropped a reminder last week and got an immediate response saying that my file is in review and that I will be contacted shortly.

Thanks Combat2016. It's not that amazing in my opinion and we have the same GMAT score. In my case, I think, having quite a lot of international experience did the trick.

I finished my interview on Apr 5th and was told that I will hear back within 2 weeks...there is no update from the school so far...Accepted candidates or VijayG6387 can you give a brief idea on when you heard back?

Well, i have been following up with the school for so long now. It is officially going to be two months by the end of the upcoming week. The team has been really responsive and I have received a response to every e mail I sent! However, it's almost 60 days since I have submitted my application and I haven't yet gotten any update. I have told them about the fact that Desautels is #1 on the list and that I need to have an update so as to pick on the right school from the offers I have. Even if it is a "no", I'd gracefully accept it and move ahead. However, this no response and asking to wait is literally killing me
