Remember that this was the status for interview intimation, and not a decision on your application.
This is not even a waitlist, as that constitutes an application decision.
They might still call you for an interview later on in this round, before they take a decision on your application.
I reached out to adcom and this is exactly what they said.
With that in mind, I'd say that we move on to other applications. I'm sure that in case of any change, we'll get an email from Fuqua.[/quote]
So what would stand on a better footing - waitlisted and pushed to succeeding rounds or this?

I applied EA so I was on-campus this week for my interview. It honestly went way better than I expected and my interviewer was really easy to talk to. Didn't get any curveball questions either. Time to count down to Oct 19...

Good thing for you. I already applied to 4 schools, the sum of their app fees nearly equals a month salary in Morocco. Clearly, Fuqua's fee waiver comes really helpful for me too.
