"Thank you for your patience as our staff at The Fuqua School of Business has been handling complications created by the impending arrival of Hurricane Florence. Due to the threat of damage from the storm, the Duke University campus was closed on September 13 and 14, a disruption that has slowed our ability to process applications submitted in Early Action. We realize that many of our applicants were also impacted by the storm, and thus in order to compensate for any difficulties or delays you may have experienced as an applicant, we have decided to extend our Early Action application to Monday, September 17, at 5 pm EST. We hope that providing this extension will provide anyone who faced unexpected delays an opportunity to submit an application in time for Early Action consideration. This does not impact our application deadlines for our later rounds."

I had the same thing happen to me - I reached out to adcom and they confirmed that they did receive my app and that they would be troubleshooting the issue. I'd try reaching out again just to make sure, but you should be good.

why isn't any chat session with adcom or with current alum planned for this school?

My application is in submitted status. Did anyone receive invitation to interview for EA? Or is there no invitation?

The invites are all sent out on the day specified by the b-school...so some more wait is in order

Instructions for EA say applicants must sign up for interviews during the open interview period UNLESS you live on the west coast. Those applicants can wait for an invitation. Posted from my mobile device

I will be applying in R2 as I give my GMAT after the deadline for R1.

EA applicants- anyone hear anything from Duke, yet? Date of interview is Sep 25. Which is approx 48 hours away!!!

Considering they extended the EA deadline by 5 days, the announcement is also likely to be postponed by a few days. I wouldn't lose hope till the end of the month.
