Hey guys,

This forum has been kinda quiet.

I got an interview scheduled for this Tuesday. Is there anyone who already went through the interview process? Any recommendations?

I just finished the interview with Heather Holland yesterday. She's very nice.

Questions are quite standards. She wants to know how I get my first job, how I chose the subsequent companies.
She asked a few personal questions: what I do in free time etc...
A bit about work accomplishment.
The interview went in 30 minutes.

"WHY CAN'T I REQUEST AN INTERVIEW WHEN THE ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE IS IN ASIA IN JANUARY/FEBRUARY?

These interviews are by invitation only after review of a completed application. We highly encourage applicants in this region to apply by Round 2 to be considered for an invitation to interview."

Does this mean they won't invite any Asian students for an interview from round 3? If so, why do they even keep it open as an option? I had applied in round 3 with some solid stats and a decent profile. Looks like all that hard work will go in vain now. :(

No. For international applications, most interviews are by invitation anyway. If they don't invite you to the in-person interviews, if your application is strong you'll get an invite for a skype interview.

Like any program, slots get filled fairly quickly in the first and second rounds, so you're at an advantage to apply early, especially if you're from an over represented demographic like Indian applicants. But if you are a strong candidate, R3 is still doable. Don't lose hope :-)

Makes sense. I just talked to a friend of mine from Goizueta who is of the same opinion. In fact, he got invited pretty late in round 3. So, no need to worry and all the best, folks! :)
