Admitted today -- very excited as this is my first admit of the cycle, plus Emory has great placements statistics and ATL would be a great place to spend 2 years. Any other admitted applicants planning on going to the admitted students weekend / day whenever that is announced?

I applied in September, interviewed November 21st, and got waitlisted on December 1st. I requested feedback after reserving my spot on the waitlist. I few days later I received an email from the Adcom stating that my weak GRE score was the reason I was waitlisted. I buckled down over the holidays and raised my score to 319. It seems like my hard work paid off, because now I am in with a scholarship. It goes to show at Emory that they do pay attention to waitlisted folks who take their feedback seriously.
Good luck to everyone else! If you are waitlisted, just know that there is hope!
