My status changed to "Application Complete" today. I didn't call nor email them because I wanted to give them an additional day or two. Still no notifications though.

perhaps try using Chrome, I tried with safari (mac) and I had some issues that were solved when I used Chrome, hope it helps

Agreed, I do not want this mindset at my business school or in my community.

I haven't gotten a link to the portal yet either. I emailed them about it last Monday and received no response (is the school known for being unresponsive to email?) I may call them next Monday or Tuesday if I haven't gotten the login by then.

Because you can't just say this in 2018 after all waves of harassments and stuff. His statement is a sexism. Like 90% of people still think like you bb10, that there is nothing bad in paying for the lady and most ladies are not against the idea of a man paying for them. Actually, it has nothing to do with feminism and women's rights. It is just a simple gentleman rule.
However, you just don't say these things in 2018. Disrespectful and just bad. The same conflict as with "Secretary" VS "Administrative assistant". The same position. However, "secretary" is not appropriate anymore. So you just don't say this word in 2018 and everything will be fine.

P.S. everyone can make a mistake. In his culture it may be a norm to pay for a woman. Guys you can't just say like "dude we are not going to study with you". Just point the mistake. Actually, he apologized. You can't just lynch a person for one statement. It is barbaric and does not make you look smart.
