Quick question for y'all.

I didn't select yes for a fee waiver. However, after I submitted, there wasn't a place for me to pay. Is that normal? Have you guys had the same experience?

Not with Fuqua, but I had this exact same experience with Sloan. I called admissions and they said don't worry about it, but they couldn't explain why I got the waiver. I am military, but a reservist so I didn't qualify (active duty only). My guess is you may have attended some event and the system somehow knows you did and marked you as good.

Did you guys get the email regarding the Duke OneLink service?
I got it last night and did all the instruction says but do not see anything on the final landing page...

The email is saying this service page allows me to track the status of my application...
Any ideas?

Same here. Probably it will take them a day or two to update the page with all the details.

In the "Applicant Materials Status" tab of the OneLink page, are you guys able to see your GRE/GMAT scores? I can see only my TOEFL scores and the Analytical Writing score in my GRE. The Q/V scores in GRE are not there. Now worried that I forgot to put in my scores in the application. For Duke, there is no 'application proof' as well to check, like some other schools.

Thank you! Then it's either something going wrong with their site loading my scores or I didn't report the scores (can't imagine I would miss just the Q/V scores and report the writing score). Anyway, sent them an email. Will call tomorrow if no response.

I think we should be hearing back closer to the end of the month based on everything I've seen thus far.

Also, should I target US B schools? Employment after completing MBA is an important criterion to decide which schools to apply. From few current students in US I have heard really negative reviews regarding job scenario for international MBA students in US. The situation is not bright in even top 15 colleges. Under the current geo-political situation, will it be a viable option to try for any US school?
Employment for international students in the US is more difficult to obtain due to visa issues. This tends to push international students towards banking, tech, and consulting. It's more difficult to justify H1-B visa for general management and marketing when I was in school (Obama administration). I expect it'll be harder under the Trump administration. With that said, my international classmates have had good success is gaining employment in their home countries after b-school. Although the starting salaries were lower at the time, I think some have grown at a more rapid rate than they would have in the US, given talent competition may be more intense in the US - harder to stand out.

Somnath1234 wrote:
Also, I will be looking for a scholarship. Earlier I was targeting top 15 US B schools. Though my profile is extremely unique, my GMAT score is on a lower side. Being from India would go against me. Are there any colleges in top 15 where I can expect admission with scholarship?
Scholarships aren't guaranteed, and it is very rare to get full ride. I would concentrate on the expected return of your education vs. low initiation investment cost. Getting a cheaper education with a lower starting salary and lower career growth potential may not pay off in the long term.

I am really nervous. The ""Applicant Materials Status" section, reports only my first GMAT attempt which was a 570. It does not show my most recent score of 720. GMAC website says updated scores were sent to Fuqua on 12-08-17. I also self reported and uploaded the new score report when I applied. Sent them an email but have not yet heard back. I really hope they do not make a decision on the outdated information.

Hopefully, the portal I am seeing has just not updated yet.
