Submitted for R1.

Worrying that my GMAT is just 700 with verbal 38 = 85%. Do you know if it could be issue with HBS or it is high enough?

I think you should not worry about it as it is over 80%. Look at other parts of your application and the quant score, which because of the 700 on GMAT I assume is below the 80% mark.

FROM HBS Admissions Blog: Two Updates
Two updates for you today:

First: The HBS MBA Class of 2018 has officially started classes! It's an outstanding group, and as promised here is their final Class of 2018 profile.

Second: For the many of you who submitted your application yesterday for R1 - thank you. We received your applications and have been reading all morning. I just took a break for lunch and sat back for a few minutes to reflect on the amazing people I feel I've already met in the prospective Class of 2019. Wow. You inspire in ways big and small, and we are grateful for your interest in HBS.

Don't worry about interview invitations just yet; I will provide more details on that later. In the meantime, relish in the knowledge that your hard work is over (for now) and ours has begun. Now back to reading...

Is there some way to check that they received the official GMAT score report? Mine still says "self reported" on the application proof. Also they really only have your name and school to match the score to the app by, correct? Don't recall them asking for SSN or anything else

They asked for SSN# on one of the beginning pages of the app - I wouldn't sweat it...

Thanks CJH2015

Just wondering: does yours say "Self-reported" or something else?

Self-reported - I only asked GMAC to send scores a week before though. I think once the proof is finalized, it doesn't update. The GMAT score is something that's confirmatory in nature - if they don't get it and need it, I'm sure HBS will reach out.

It says self-reported on mine as well, and I completed it 7 weeks before finalizing my application. Think this is reason to send them a note?

Thanks,

No, don't reach out. They're swamped and as long as you got the confirmation email saying that you are part of Round 1, you're good. If they need the score, they'll reach out. It takes GMAC longer than a week to send them.

I actually first cancelled my score but then reinstated because I didn't have time to take it again.

So my test is from June but I didn't have AWA when I submitted application because I just reinstated it. Could it be an issue? They will see that I took GMAT in June but for some reason still report 0 AWA.
