Hello Guys,

Last week, I got the confirmation for Jan'19 intake under Dual Degree programme(IMBA+ Big Data). But I have not received any communication from the financial aid team for scholarship, given I submitted my scholarship application soon after my application for admission .
My plan to pursue MBA relies heavily on scholarship. So, before I book my place for the course, I want to be sure about the cost that I will have to bear and thus could think on the same line.
I would really appreciate if anyone could guide me on the process to follow for the scholarship/fellowship programme or could share similar experience.
Shall I get in touch with the admission team on this and state clear my need and aspiration?

Hi,
Generally it takes 7 to 15 days for the financial aid team to respond to an aid request. In case, you applied for your scholarship more than 15 days ago, it is advisable to send a follow-up mail to the financial aid team or contact the local IE office in your country (in case there is one)

Hi, I am in the process of applyin and I notice that people talk about several essays and topics while all I see is a peronal essay of 250-650 words the topic of which is "This section is important in understanding who you are, not just as a student but also as a person in order to grasp the value that you could add to our program. Take this as an opportunity to showcase your unique attributes and personality." Can someone please let me know if this is the only essay or if there are other essays which I am not seeing? Thanks!!!

For anyone taking the IeGAT, I took it two weeks ago and I passed it.
Here's their message to me "We have received your ieGAT results and are pleased to inform you that you have scored within the top third of test takers worldwide. Congratulations!"

Pro tip: Prepare!!! It's very easy compared to the GMAT, but what will really give you an edge is preparation and timing.
I got this prep course from this website called jobtestprep.co.uk and it helped me get familiarized with the test, thus making me feel more comfortable and confident during the test.

I am taking the ieGAT in two weeks. I wonder about the Diagrammatic Reasoning part. What kind of figures will the test consist of, mostly shapes of triangles, squares and circles?

Furthermore, what kind of mathematics would you advise me to revise in advance.

All help and information with preparations of the ieGAT is much appreciated.

I think Ankit's referring to post MBA prospects. In that case it is not so much a visa issue as it is a language one. Companies hire for the local market and naturally have certain language requirements. However, depending on your industry, if your focus is on UK, Ireland, Switzerland or Scandinavian countries chances are you will get a visa sponsor. Best wishes

Hi,

The questions for me were not about personal matters but more like analyzing a situation. I was first asked what project would I endeavor in if I had USD $50k and one month; the second question was about the pros and cons of globalization; the third question asked about something that was being done or that I would propose in my current work to help the environment. The first two questions are video recorded you are given 30 seconds to prepare and 1 minute to answer. The third question is written, you are given the question and then straight away 5 minutes to answer.

I would suggest you practice on the Kira website, you´re given unlimited practice trials before doing the real thing. The questions are somewhat different in practice than the real one but I found it key to feel comfortable answering before a camera, make sure you watch the replays of the practice questions as you will notice some gestures you might be repeating too much or find yourself not looking at the camera.
