Firstly, I knew that a large part of the MBA experience was learning from your classmates and so to get the richest experience I'd want the most diverse class. I felt that Cornell offered the most diverse class between my choices. Secondly, I enjoy outdoor activities and Ithaca offers a great variety of fun activities to keep me active outside of the classroom. Lastly, from a personal point. My wife could not relocate with me to Ithaca and so we'll have to travel back and forth from each other's locations. R3...2 Yr... INDIA... Still Waiting....

I am a R3 applicant and just interviewed on campus this past week. I spoke with an AdCom and they acknowledged that their pacing for R2 was slow, but have been working at a much better rate for R3. That said, there was another applicant who was also visiting campus last week and received his interview invite while he was visiting (good timing). He scheduled for early this week. Given that there has been some administrative lag due to the formation of the new College of Business and the fact that Admissions seems to be a bit understaffed, try to remain patient. The AdCom members I met were all very gracious people, in spite of a stressful season, and seem to be working very hard. Hopefully, this information is useful. Best of luck to all of us.
