Had my alumni interview today and it went great, very conversational, had a really good connection. No surprise questions. She seemed interested in what I was saying and was eager to share her experiences and answer my questions. I wonder how much it weighs in the admissions process.
Does anyone know if they release all decisions at the same time on December 13?
Nov - 1st. I am heading to the same decision this year too I guess. Seems like they had fewer alums in India or something.
Hi same boat, nothing from Kellogg here either in Bangalore.

Can we be reasonably certain that all invites have indeed gone out? I spent some time on last year's thread and saw that not too many invites went after the initial bunch, but I haven't seen too many invites here or on livewire to be honest.
Yeah exactly. Last year most of the folks from gmatclub were invited in the Sep wave and not much after that. No idea what’s happening but I think a few invites are left.
But aren't these interview assignments random? I think Kellogg doesn't read applications until interviews are done and most Indians get interview waivers and then the good applicants get skype interviews.
A lot of Indian applicants get alum interviews. I’m not sure if ‘most’ Indians get waivers. But most applicants also get dinged so it could be a fair argument.
I still haven't gotten an invite yet and I'm in the US. Which leads me to believe that there are plenty more to come.

Or it might be the case that we are not good enough to get an invite. For example I know a russian girl who got an invite from Kellogg on the second day after the deadline. And I am waiting for a month already. Looks like that's it ) However I don't give up and lose hope.
Had my interview on campus. Prepared for an ad com interview but it turned out to be a first year student which threw me off a bit. It was conversational but I got a lot of questions I had never gotten before and I didn’t hit all the points I wanted to on the “why Kellogg” question. I think this is because she combined “why now, short term goal, and why Kellogg” as one question so I lost my focus a bit as I was talking for 5+ minutes. Why Kellogg was covered in the video essay so hopefully I’m good there.

Kellogg is very clear that they do not read applications until you have completed an interview or they have issued you an interview waiver. So let's not speculate.
