I called the office about an hour back. The lady whom I talked to said that they have been experiencing system difficulties and they are trying to resolve it ASAP. I think a ding or waitlist seems more probable because system difficulties would not have prevented them from calling us if we were accepted). But let's hope for the best.

I am surprised that only 4-5 people got accepted. Even on clearadmit I don't see many admits from Olin.
Maybe their system went down after calling a few admits? That would be the best case scenario since we didn't see many acceptances go out. But I'm not holding out hope. I just want to know already.

Waitlisted! Considering that my interview didn't go as well as I hoped, I am really happy I still have a chance I didn't contact the office, just received an email a while ago. Congratulations to those who got in!

Going by the previous trends, we could expect more invites by mid Jan.
They could also be waiting to see what their yield is going to look like. Based on clear admit they are providing very generous scholarships to R1 applicants.

thanks!!
I'm not sure I can be of much help here. But from my visit with Simon they were all about the numbers. They are internationally known for finance. A few students I spoke to did get in to consulting but also a good amount of people got in to banking. I have not visited Olin yet but will for the admitted students weekend. From their employment statistics I've looked at they are strongest in marketing with consulting being second. Hope that helps bro.
