I know we still have a lot of time and generally I a one of those who would say keep positive attitude. But with calls are already getting out, it is kind of nerve-wracking. I'd have easily waited till the end, had it been the case for all. But when a few find out and I am still waiting, it is getting a bit tough.

I'm hopeful for you and hope to see you in Houston; you're obviously thoughtful and Rice sounds like a personal fit. No matter the outcome, you've got an attitude for success and you're going to forge a path toward your goals. I'm keeping the positive vibes alive toward good news!

I did receive my admissions package in the mail today; it's a very nice touch.

I received a box that included hard copy of my acceptance letter on letterhead (identical to the digital letter online), a card signed by the admissions team, and a couple of Rice Business mementos. I don't want to ruin any surprises for those who want to see it for themselves, but feel free to private message me for the specifics.

After taking a quick look back over the threads from the last couple of years, it's not looking great. However, there's never a huge sample of applicants on this site for Rice, so I'm hoping to be wrong on this. Would love to hear it if somebody knew/heard otherwise!
