I saw interview slots in India filling up very fast..Managed to book the last available one. That means quite a few invites were rolled out yesterday at least to Indian applicants.
That confirms it - no invite for me then - it's strange how so many folk didn't report R2 invites here. I had hoped against hope for an invite but guess it's not to be. They don't send out an email denying interview do they?

Text of email received from the school
"In order to give all apps a proper review, interview invitations will be going out in two waves. The first group of invitations will be sent by the end of this week. The second (and final) batch will go out by the end of January. The timing of your interview invitation is not an indicator of the strength of your application. If you are not invited to interview, your application may be denied as early as Feb. 8, 2018 so that you may pursue alternative plans."

I think there is still hope of getting an invite till 31 Jan 2018. Or else, we can expect the regret email by 08 Feb.

Looks like it’s a no for me folks! Everyone who is headed out to Ross: GOOD LUCK!!

The final wave of Round 2 interview invitations have gone out. Shortly after posting the interview schedule, nearly all of our on-campus slots filled up. So we’ve reached out to our student interviewers to volunteer more time and opened up more slots. Those, too, filled up. Please don’t despair if you weren’t able to get an on-campus interview slot; interviews with alumni hold the same weight, and you’ll have more opportunities to visit us here in person.

If you didn’t receive an interview invitation, the AdCom will do another review of your application to determine whether to waitlist or deny. Then on Friday, Feb 9, we will be releasing a batch of early denies.

Did anyone who was waitlisted in R1 without interview, receive an interview invite in R2?

I did not. I wonder if waitlisted applicants will also be dinged with the Feb. 9th group. Not much communication from them and they seem to not want updates on anything except GMAT. Hopefully we get an opportunity to interview in April.

Yay interview invite! But now I'm wondering if I can afford to attend the interview on campus. The plane tickets are $700 CAD...

Negligible in comparison to two year's tuition and foregone salary. Is driving an option?

Thanks for putting my head back in the game. I've booked a $800 ticket (taking a trip to Chicago after the interview). Fingers crossed!

Now that is the kind of commitment they are looking for from applicants. Great decision.

All the best for the R2 interviews everyone. I am all set for Ross, and excited to see future classmates. I had posted my Ross interview experience before in this thread, so feel free to check that out. TL;DR - my interview with alum was very conversational. He made it very clear that he wanted it to be a conversation and was an all-out nice guy.

Happy to help anybody for interview prep :)
So if I haven't received an invite until now, I should be expecting a reject?
