Hello All,

I had the following questions regarding interview invites which are expected to roll out starting tomorrow:

1) Does having no views on optional essay mean you are already dinged. I can see posts where people are confirming views from adcom. I have zilch views on my essays till date

2) The chat transcript shared mentions that hub cities for interviews are:
"we visit hub cities around the world depending on where our interviewees are from. Cities easy to travel to such as London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong, Singapore, Los Angeles, San Francisco, as well as South American cities."

I cant see any Indian city here (Mumbai, Delhi) - does anyone have an idea if interview would be conducted in India, if not what is the process for Indian applicants?

3) How much do we generally get between interview invite and date of interview as we have an additional essay to be submitted?

4) Since Sloan interviews are not blind do we necessarily need to prepare stories for the interview which are not a part of our essays?

Let me answer your first question. No view doesn't mean ding (btw. I also have no views yet). The Adcoms might still view your optional essay and even if they are not, it doesn't seem to mean anything. Look at at this post from pandashack:

I had the opportunity to talk with a member of the Admission Committee two weeks ago and she told me that it is very difficult that they conduct an interview by Skype, but in extreme circumstances they do. So, if you are invited they expect that you travel to Boston or to a Hub city.

Yeah, no action on Clear Admit, so they were probably off today.

Also, we don't know for certain whether any invites will be sent tomorrow, either. Just because invites begin to be sent out this week doesn't mean it has to start on the first business day of the week. A little opened ended... this week through end of next.

Exactly.. maybe tomorrow or saturday. I've noticed how European schools give out exact dates (HEC and INSEAD) and US schools leave it open ended.
Prefer the European way.. I don't really like surprises.

Wharton gave a date (Feb. 7th), but that might be unusual. I did much prefer that one.

Luckily I am off that view - not viewed thing. I shared same ppt on Google Drive and Dropbox with private link. I guess they dont give viewed option. So I am at peace, unless such sharing options give viewed option and I am incredibly stupid and technically lagging behind ;)

Anyways, Sloan- Why you no invite me!! :roll:

Guys, there's a post on clear admit's livewire which says:
"At the info session today (2/16) adcom said Rnd 2 interview invites will go out towards the end of next week 2/24-26 range"
So... yeah. More waiting.
