I'm starting to feel these are the ways schools keeping their yield high. GSB keeps your anxiety high so those who are not serious about them will put deposit in other schools. If you wait till you get invited by GSB you are more likely to take the offer. On a not so related note, Booth gives you an essay so you have to decide if you want to focus on other schools' interview or Booth essay. This way they weed out those who will reject their offer. Just my 2 cents

Felt my stomach drop a few inches when I got a mail sometime back from the GSB- early rejection I suspected. Thankfully just one of their "Update for All Round 1 Applicants" outlining the process post application submission. All the best folks.. over the next couple of weeks.. !!! Hope we all do awesomely well with our application outcomes..

In a way, it is good that interviews come out in the middle of the night for me. No stress is induced as I need to go to sleep now hahaha. Good luck everyone! Remember, there's heaps of days to go and many are supposed to come out near the end.

In the previous years, I think applicants from consulting got the first invites. Wonder if that'll be the case this year as well.. P.S. no update for me)
