Can anyone from last year tell if Tepper sends interview invites to Indians in R2 or is it very rare due to diversity quota being priority ?
Can speak from my experience with 4 Indian applicants I coached last year. Everyone I worked with got admits in R2 and late rounds. So, I don't think diversity is a big factor at Tepper, but yes, the quality of the application definitely plays into converting the final offer, even more than the overall GMAT/GRE as long as the quant score is a solid one. A general trend is that Indian male applicants get put on waitlists a lot, and so it becomes important how they manage the waitlist process. Tepper is known for its focus on tech and therefore seeks certain strengths in applicants, so it's no surprise that there can only be so much diversity from within the applicant pool it seeks (IMO).
