R2 applicant here. Interview invite: Jan 25th Interview: Feb 8th

FWIW, from my experience to date, schools rarely wait until their listed decision date to actually extend offers of admission. If you read through most of these individual school threads, you'll see that most schools typically send out offers of admission well before their deadlines. To be honest, again drawing from personal experience, if you haven't heard anything from a school by their listed decision date, that's most likely a bad sign. No news is generally bad news in that regard. The admissions process is highly competitive for schools as well (and not just applicants), and when schools find an applicant they truly want, generally they don't waste time trying to attract them. Source: Guy who interviewed R1 at Anderson and received the dreaded waitlist e-mail on the R1 decision date.

For R1, they gave calls the day before decision date and full updates on decision date; Anderson works this way for R1 at least the last few years. (Look back at Dec 14th posts on this thread to see the flow of elation)

Consider me mistaken on that assertion, then. Many thanks for setting the record straight, dLo. Fingers crossed on the waitlist release decisions in the weeks ahead. Assuming those won't come down until March 28 or March 29? I've posted in the Anderson Waitlist thread, but unfortunately activity in that thread is non-existent.

Hey , congrats for everyone who got in. I have applied on january 4th right on the deadline for round 2 and I still don't have an answer. not even a notification of denial or interview invite. Is anyone else in that case? Should I contact them ?
