Hey guys,

Nice job to everyone working on an application, what an exciting time! I'm a current UCLA FEMBA student and I recently built an app with a classmate (the OutOfOffice app) that connects successful professionals through interest groups and in-person events. We just opened up a new group for MBA preparation in LA, and we would love to get motivated MBA seekers in the loop. Our MBA prep group is for a wide range of people including current students, alum, admissions reps, MBA prospects and more. We are working with both the full and part time programs at UCLA Anderson and encourage those pursuing an MBA at UCLA to check it out. Those who have sent their documents to Anderson..how much time after receiving the documents did your portal show the documents as received?

I had sent the documents through FedEx and were delivered on 7th November, but the portal is still not updated.

I wrote them yesterday. They updated my page after my letter and replied "please know that we only need self-reported scores to evaluate applications".

I don't understand what's going on with Anderson w.r.t documents. I sent both my transcript and certificate to them in the same package. They updated the transcript receipt on the status page after I wrote to them, but didn't confirm the receipt of certificate.

Don't know what to make out of it !

Hey I have a query regarding the submitting of docs. I have the transcript copies with me, but my undergrad institute does not issue a copy of the degree certificate. In that case, UCLA suggests that I mail them the original certificate copy. I find doing this very risky, as if the document is lost anywhere, I will forever lose the certificate.

How have you guys handled this situation? Did you receive a copy of degree or did you mail your original document?

I had sent them a copy certified by my institute(having a stamp of the institute), but they claim to have not received it (Although I had sent them the transcript in the same packet and they received the transcript - God knows what's wrong !)

I resent the degree certificate copy again.

I had the same prob. Does your transcript show the degree name and degree conferral date? My transcripts showed this information and I emailed adcom to confirm if the transcript would be suffice in this case. They confirmed that no degree certificate is reqd.

There is an Interview Invite post on clear admit dated Nov 17 though. There were a couple of invite posts on Nov 30 last year as well. Maybe, there are some invites left to come. Who knows!. Yeah but more or less, Round 1 process is winding down.

I just checked again. The November 30 posts last year were from people who had applied through the Consortium. I just don't foresee invites coming. Other schools are also pretty much done with invites for Round 1. But then again, anything can happen.
