Hey guys, Did anyone get good news after wait list review or any idea when they would typically release decisions after the review? Good luck to all the waitlisted candidates!

Nope, I don't think anyone of us got the news as of now. Since the deadline for accepting the waitlist was 29th May, I am assuming we will hear in a week or so.

Hello Everyone! I have asked the same question in CMU forum as well...
Can the Admitted candidates please share when does the ASW commence for the Fall 2018 batch?
When are you guys typically planning to travel to Chapel Hill?
I'm on waitlist and I'm hoping that it should converted to an admit. Can you please share what is the process once you get the admit. I've heard there's a separate portal with information for admitted students. Do we have to complete any coursework before joining the class?
For Indian candidates, how long does it take to get the I20 from the day of receiving the admit.

Can’t speak to anything regarding Indian candidates or travel as I live in NC but ASW starts July 9th. After being admitted I registered but my confirmation said registration closes June 1st... the day I was admitted. Waiting to see if I’ll be able to join, hopefully there is an exemption for waitlist candidates. I don’t believe there is any coursework required before starting classes.

Put Aug 1st as a general move in date. I know it is hard to be on WL so late in the game.
I don't want to be the one deflating hopes, but as an international student, at this stage, I'd start acting on my Plan B. The universities may or may not send acceptance to international WL students. They know the slim possibility of converting it to an enrollment, due to visa and other requirements. But I admire your optimism, at the same time. Be prepared, but don't get hung up on it - that is all I want to say.

Hello guys, I was admitted off the waitlist four days back. As I have decided to join Vanderbilt's Owen I have declined the offer. All the best for chapel hill.
