Okay, so I just completed my Foster video interview. The questions were actually difficult if I compare these with Rotman Interview Questions. I was asked the following questions: Time to think: 30 sec Time to speak: 1:30 mins. Question 1: Discuss about an impactfull achievement from your professional life and tell us why do you think it was impactfull? Question 2: Tell us about a time when you handled a task on which you had zero information. What were the steps you took to begin with, what were the strategies and what were the end results? Overall, I was confident and gave answers to all the sub parts. I hope this may help some of you.

Can these video interviews be the make and break decision of the application? Any idea how much weight these carry?

As far as I understand they are checking the following things: 1. Your communication skills 2. Your confidence level 3. How do you react when you are asked to speak on the spot on something? Finally, these could or could not be make or break decision for the application. If a person doesn't know how to communicate, obviously it's going to be a problem but if you are okay or better than okay, then I believe what matters the most are the other parts of the application. Has anyone else had issues with their device setup through Kira Talent? At first it couldn't detect my camera, then after getting that resolved, it can't detect my computer's microphone. I've tried allowing Flash, disabling ad blockers, the whole lot, and still can't record any audio. I've put in a ticket with Kira Talent, but figured I'd see if anyone else had issues.

I just submitted the video essay. Both were straightforward as stated by abhimahna here. Mostly related to professional struggle and how did you overcome the issues you faced. I would suggest listing 3-4 issues you faced professionally and practice them. I had questions about issues I faced in career and how did I handle it. And some general questions about the business relationship. As stated by abhimahna here- They test your impromptu skills in speaking, decision making and how well you respond in a timed manner to a direct question. Below are my suggestions. 1. Look Confidence. 2. Look at the Webcam instead of your video. So that you are looking at the person who would be watching the video. 3. Smile- time to time. And be casual as you are speaking to a friend over skype. I know it is only 1 min 30 secs. But it is a lot of time in term of impromptu speaking when you know what you need to speak. All the best! Hope they call us for the interview. Since the program is very selective due to the class size. P.S- I just sent my official score to the school. Hope it would reach by the end by week.

Thanks for your inputs guys.. I'll prepare for a couple of days and will submit the day after.. Do you recommend preparing for questions related to program or school also?

Hey murtuzahn , I don't think so. As far as I know, they will ask generic leadership related questions only. So, you are good to go with only general facts.
