You can never go wrong with dressing up. I will probably go with a silk blouse and trousers or skirt but will keep it a bit more business casual by not wearing the suit jacket.

Hah! When you really zoom out on the whole thing, there really aren't that many seats in a lot of these schools! Good luck ;)

Also, I am from the media industry and my short term goals are to go into management consulting.

Can anyone give me some details about the internship and hiring process for consulting at Foster? When does it start and what does a student (especially one who is not from the industry) need to do to bag a placement offer in this industry?

I did get a question about what did I think I would struggle with in the MBA program. Essentially a more in-depth version of a weaknesses question.

Mind if I ask who your adcom interviewer was?




This user wants to stay Private
The interviews at Foster are very conversational. My admissions officer was great and it was held in her office.
They will have read through your application so there'll be questions about your resume and job experience. From there she asked a couple situational questions which led to questions about why I was choosing to get an MBA and why at Foster. Then you'll get an opportunity to ask them some questions.
They emphasize teamwork so one of the questions will probably ask how you work in team or group settings.
