The accept/reject offer buttons are still inactive for me on the portal. Is it same for everyone else?

I bet they'll be up Monday or Tuesday. Some resource (I don't remember if it was the email or the admitted students site) said it would take 1-2 business days, so I wouldn't worry.

I did the really ROUGH math of acceptance after interview invite and it's around 78%.

Percentage interviewed = 45%: Kira Foster Interview [can't attach links, in this thread though]

Number applied / accepted for 2020 class = 934 applied and 328 admits [P&Q Foster CO 2020 stats]

So 934*.45 = 420.3 interviews

328 admits/420.3 interviews = 78% chance

Again, very ROUGH math but hope it helps

I think it's lower that that for round 2. A lot of people I know were not accepted in R2. Extrmely low acceptance.

I thought the class size for full time MBA is around 100. 328 might include other MBA programs as well.

328 students ADMITTED to full time MBA, not 328 students that accepted their offer and are in the class.

Yeah it's a rough estimate and could be lower or higher, but the numbers are provided by adcom.

~1000 applicants a year, interview ~45% and about 60-80% of those that interviewed got in.

Rejected as well. I had a strong feeling I would be rejected based upon my interview. My interviewer was not really personable and seemed determined to get through the list of questions. It felt awkward at times.
Congrats to all the admits!

Anyone have any idea when the background check is done?

I'm planning to pay the deposit after welcome weekend, which is the end of April. Being an international student, is that too late to start the background check process? How long does it usually take?

What is the rate of acceptance at Foster with a GRE score? if yes, what is the average score?

Sorry for going off topic here!

I am applying to Foster in R2 and have started filling the application form online.

They have mentioned a peculiar way to calculate the GPA. Below is their exact wording-
"Working from the most recent quarter/semester add the graded course credits (excluding thesis or dissertation courses) until you reach 90 quarter or 60 semester credits. Use these 90 quarter or 60 semester credits to calculate your GPA."

Last last 60 semester credits of undergrad are spanning 8th semester and part of my 7th semester. So, should I calculate GPA based on only these courses?

I am worried because in my last 2 semesters at college, I scored a lot of Cs.

Hi,

Even I am applying with a GRE score but this information is not available - atleast not directly from the Foster's admissions team. I have met them couple of times and asked the same questions but they did not have any data. However, they did mention that they convert GRE to GMAT using some tool on the ets website.

Actually, the average and median GRE scores are reported to US News and World Report, which is considered the authoritative rankings list (institution reported data). For 2020, the Foster averages were 157 Quant, 158 Verbal, with I think a 4.2 Writing? The actual GRE averages and 90-10 percentile ranges are behind their pay wall, so PM me if you need a screenshot!
