Yale is coming to my city next week, but I already submitted my application :(. Wish they had come here earlier, but I'll go anyway. Let me know if you guys have any questions that you want to ask. I'll ask them for you.

I think I'll ask them about interview tips just in (very unlikely) case that I receive an invite (I'm losing my hope!!!!)

Slightly stupid question but can you ask them if they're processing applications in order of the video questions submission dates? I hope that's the case and it isn't random.

My theory is they categorize applications by criteria like GMAT score and go through the top applications first

I had that conspiracy theory too but I was mostly kidding. I doubt they do that. I think it's a factor of multiple reviewers and contingencies.

HBS, GSB, Wharton, Yale, Kellogg, Columbia, and Booth. Getting pretty nervous though... I thought there would be some safety in numbers, but now I am less sure.

I haven't even received a Kellogg invite so don't even get me started.

A friend said to me..."Yale is using a computer software to do the initial shortlist". I kinda agree because, from the forum, the stats show that, most of the people who have received Interview invite have High GMAT scores and high CGPA. The rest of us will have to wait till someone has read and found our application interesting.

Wow. This is pretty surprising, particularly for a school like Yale SOM.

In any case, I do hope we start seeing some movement sooner rather than later.....the wait is KILLING me.

Many people worried about seeing one or two invites everyday in the livewire. But we hardly saw any invitation after the two initial round of invites in GMAT club. My bet is people mentioning interview invites in livewire were sent the invitations in the initial rounds, as evidenced by the reply from one of the recent interview invites in the livewire.

Wow! That does sound unusual. However, I recall seeing a GMAT 700 score receiving an interview invite on Livewire and I doubt Yale would consider that 'high' benchmark to blindly trust a software. :|

How reliable are Livewire updates? Are they truly "live"?
