In a certain business,production index p is directly proportional to efficiency index e,which is inturn directly proportional to investment index i,whats p if i = 70?

1)e=0.5 whenever i=60
2)p=2.0 whenever i=50

Answer is E ?? None of the statements mention the relation between p and e/i.

P = K EI

1: p =k0.5*60 => p = 30k

2:p=k2*50 => p =100k

2 eq, 2 var. C should be answer

Now i get How tricky OG questions can be !!!
C is not the answer !!!this question went wrong for me ,when i cpompleted the question i was confident but then got to know whats the mistake !!!such quetions are expected in GMAT

try again !!!pls post the explanations

Oh yes there is a type in the 2nd condition its p not e
1)e=0.5 whenever i=60
2)p=2.0 whenever i=50
