Hi all,

I am planning on taking the exam very soon and had a question regarding the break. Do we have to show our whiteboard to the proctor before leaving for break? If yes, what if proctor does not reply during the break , can we still show to camera that it is clean and walk away?

Yes you can. I showed it to the camera and walked away. It was fine. But remember that different proctors have different standards of what's allowed in the test (crazy but it is what it is) - so just to be sure, check in with your proctor about the break before starting the test.

Wow, that is crazy..
Thanks for your reply, will ask the proctor before starting the test.

Hi all

Have been trying to book Online GMAT appointment (second attempt) but i cant see any option to book the slot.

The dashboard that opens up when I click the book appointment option, shows my recently completed online test.

Is anyone facing a similar issue? Pls help!

Hi Guys,
Does anyone have information on the change in the latest median scores for the top 20 schools and is there an increase in the acceptance rate?

Hahaha.. I would suggest do a couple of mock tests using the physical whiteboard so you get comfortable with it. And at least what I did, was erasing as fast as I could as soon as I pressed submit after Every question.

No need to be rude. What I meant was there can never be a single strategy that will work for everyone. Some prefer it on the left, some on the right, some like it flat, some like it vertical. So the only way to know is try it out and see what's best for you. The same goes for erasing the board. Some people may write small while others like to write large characters, so it comes down to the person in the end.

Although if you are talking about the online whiteboard, then it also is pretty much the same, you may want to try out the zoom out and zoom in features.

This is exactly what I meant. I thought it would be obvious and need not be mentioned.

I agree that it's best to experiment and find what works best for you. It's actually easier to use than the normal yellow pad, because you have more flexibility.

Personally, I like the freedom of being able to use as much space as necessary, and if I keep the block eraser on top of the board, it takes only 1-2 seconds to erase while I'm on the confirm screen. (photo attached)

I have a question regarding the cancellation fee and the rescheduling fees in GMAT Online:- For instance, I book it for 14 August 2020 and want to reschedule it to a later date when the GMAT Online option is not available, then, in that case, will I be charged any fees?

Hi,

I am taking my GMAT online tomorrow. My study desk is clean and clutter free, I have a mouse, a keyboard, an a 15in Mac monitor. However desk at home is glass and I need a mousepad for the optical mouse to work. Anyone know if this will be a problem? Thanks so much!

If the exam is not extended by that time, then you will not be able to reschedule to a different date. You can cancel 24 hrs prior to the exam though.

Please hit kudos if this helped.

Very likely considering the situation. There are lockdowns in major metros. But do not hang on to this hope and book a date before. GMAT usually announces 2-3 days before the deadline so you can reschedule if you want.

Hit kudos if this helped.
