Am I missing something?

St1 -
x = 0, y = 1, z = 2 ---> 1 + 2 + 0 = 3
x = -1, y = 1, z = 0 ---> -1 + 1 + 0 = 0
Insufficient

St2 -
x = -1, y = 0, z = 1 ---> -1 + 1 + 0 = 0 YES
x = -2, y = 1, z = 2 ---> -2 + 1 + 2 = 1 NO

Shouldn't St2 be insufficient?

-2, 1 and 2 are not three consecutive even integers

On another note, you cannot take the example of -1,0,1 as well because those are not three consecutive even integers too.

-2,0,2 is the only set that can be true for st.2
