Worked for two years as Area Incharge of an area with 20000 consumers responsible for maintenance of High Voltage and Medium Voltage lines,responsible for restoration of power supply and recovery of billing revenue from consumers.Interacted with multiple stakeholders,have extensively interacted with consumers and other government bodies( a mini administartion sort of),Led a team of 13.

Hi Ashwini786 hope this finds you well
At this stage with a 610 on GMAT, it is important that you analyze (individual quant and verbal sections) how can you improve your performance on the GMAT in the shortest span of time. I see a lot of potential in your profile, but it is unfortunate that you might most likely not have a reasonable GMAT score to apply with for R2.
I have worked with several folks from a power distribution background and therefore I feel your profile would also have immense potential for storytelling. The most important aspect to show on a B School application is "career progression". How have you demonstrated an upward trajectory in the last 8 years? Your incremental responsibilities from a core engineering role to a techno-commercial and business planning role are certainly noticeable. What incremental learnings and challenges did you undertake as you worked in the power distribution sector in the last 8 years?
You have a decent chance of making it to ISB, IIM A,B,C if you execute the application well and show the utmost clarity on post-MBA prospects. Introspect on your post-MBA goals keeping in mind what possible career tracks in the short/mid-term could help you attain your long-term vision/objective. Keep laying down your thought process on your career goals in the essays and present alternatives to your most preferred career objective. Speak with experts and people in the careers where you aspire to be.
Your ECs are below average, but I can tell you that's not what applicants get rejected for in Indian B Schools, although, it definitely helps if you present a well-rounded profile. I suggest that you think deeper and analyze whether you have missed considering any mundane/ unobvious/ subtle initiatives you may have taken through the years (certain diversity initiatives at work, for example, raising voice against gender parity, voicing strong opinions for women's employment, providing financial or moral support to someone in need, teaching the underprivileged kids, organizing diversity talks or off-site activities for better collaboration among teams, and so on).
