Happy and grateful to have the choice. 2/3rds at Anderson.
Key points:
- International student
- Background in M&A at a small shop.
- Goals post MBA are pretty general, open to consulting (strong, strong preference to MBB if so), tech (PM/strategy/etc), LDP's - whoever will sponsor me.
- Not interested in finance but will do as a last resort if other options fail.
- Want to stay in US post MBA, no location preference (I'll go where I land a job)
- Cost is a large factor in my decision going over. I'm aware that it's getting harder for international students to securing post-US employment. Prepared to hustle to get what I want, but aware that money off the table today takes away some downside risk should job market tank.
Any and all advice appreciated. Interested what people see as the cash break point for the old motto "Attend the best school you get into".

Congratulations on your admits! It is a good dilemma to have!
If MBB is dear to you, Kellogg will be a much better option for a few qualitative and quantitative reasons:
1. MBB's have presence at Kellogg and spend 4 days on campus; attend classes, conduct coffee chats, and are a permanent fixture. That is not the case with Anderson
2. On Campus hiring is slower on West coast. Programs are smaller and while nobody scoffs at Anderson, nobody wants to fly there for the sake of 360 students vs. Chicago that has both Kellogg's 479 and Booth's 580
3. Nemerically, Anderson sent 15% of their class into consulting while Kellogg sent 132 of 479
4. On Thursday there was a good discussion about M7 vs. Top 20 for Consulting: https://gmatclub.com/forum/consulting-r ... 12877.html - I would recommend reviewing it
P.S. Is it possible to get into MBB from Anderson - anything is possible but chances and opportunities, esp for an international applicant will be significantly better at Kellogg.

Thanks for the materials bb. I'm still struggling with the choice, mainly because of the scholarship size (I think MBB is hard work from all programs, if they look at Anderson then I think it's on me from there). Open call - any Kellogg or UCLA alum with opinions?
