OG2020 Required or 2015 good enough?  [#permalink]

Hi,

I am preparing to take GMAT end of Dec, I am currently using OG 2015, as I just happened to have a new copy in hand. However, I wonder if much has changed and if it would give any real value in getting OG2020? Also, It seems there are OG's focused on just quants and verbal as well, are these worth it, or would it be better to stick to one OG and focus my time on online tests/materials instead? So far, I have found the quality of solutions in the OG (Base don the diagnostic tests to be relatively poor compared to the solutions available online for the same questions)

Thanks

Stick with official guide for verbal part. For quant, og is not enough, i guess. You have to know every concept for quant part that gmac normally tests. You can take help from 3rd party's books for concept.

Og 2015 is enough for verbal, i think. If you want to solve various question from og2020 you can take help from my signature (sesrch tag).

Personally I would get hold of the OG 2020 (3 books) and (if you aim for higher scores) the recently released "GMAT Official Advanced Questions".

In addition, I suggest paying for the additional official mock tests.

I know they are not cheap. But you want to be well prepared for the test and aim to pass the test in your first sitting.
