Hi there,
First of all, our sincere apologies for the delayed response! Before I get into specific schools, I would ask you why you’re looking to get a second MBA. In other words, what do you hope to do professionally after graduation that you cannot do now without a second MBA? Without a crystal clear answer to that question, admission to any top MBA program is going to be very challenging, if not a non-starter.
I’d also like to point out that an MBA from a top program in the US or Europe is a general management degree. Although you will have opportunities to tailor your curriculum to your professional area(s) of focus (some schools even offer majors or specializations), the degree you graduate with will be an MBA plain and simple. If you’re looking for a more specialized degree in finance or data analytics, you might find an MFin or MS in Data Science (or Data Analytics) to be better aligned with your objectives. But again, it all depends on what you want to do professionally upon graduation and what the requirements of that job are.
Regardless of which path you take, you’re absolutely doing the right thing by focusing on bringing your GMAT score up. You’re part of a highly competitive pool of applicants who tend to score above average on the GMAT so you want to make sure that you don’t fall short there. Plus, your undergrad GPA is a bit on the lower end so a higher GMAT score will help offset that.
Once you have your GMAT score in hand, then you’ll have a better idea of the range of schools where your profile is competitive. Assuming you score a ~720 on the GMAT, I would encourage you to look at the top 15-25 schools – programs like Olin, Tepper, and Goizueta in the U.S. should be right down the fairway for you. A lot more will ultimately go into school selection than just GMAT score but that’s a great place to start. Here’s a more detailed guide to school selection, as case you’re interested:
