Need some advice, my interviewer said I can ask them any further questions and actually had one come to mind but it feels like our relationship is in a transactional phase with the interview and it might be weird to ask them another question about their experience?
In particular regarding how they have personally found the network and strength of recruiting internationally when compared to more local universities. I can ask someone else but can't decide if I should just leave that connection alone for now or if she would see it as continued genuine interest (or lack of more thorough research and maybe only questions about things like favourite professor is acceptable at this stage)?

I think you asking them how they found the network and strength of recruiting internationally is definitely an acceptable question to ask your interviewer. That's an important answer to know. I know favorite professor was just an example you gave, but I think your actual question makes more sense than that one. Favorite professor they might think you're asking them a question just to ask a question, so I wouldn't reach out and take up their time for the more basic or superficial questions.
My interactions have been with Ross students not alums, but I feel all the Ross students were genuine in offering to answer additional questions and I imagine alums are similar. If you'd feel more comfortable though maybe wait to ask that question if you're admitted and it helps you make a decision about Ross?
