Could anyone share any speculative reasons for being waitlisted without an interview? Am I interesting to them as a specific profile (non profit in my case)? So they simply don't have a slot for me right now.
Any tips/guesses would be helpful. It's been a really tough year.

It could simply be that they are waiting to see how many similar candidates apply in Round 2 in order to compare you to them before making any further decisions. Usually we see this in the bigger industry buckets, but perhaps they are seeing an increase in candidates from the nonprofit this world this year (which makes sense given COVID). Keep hope alive -- you're still in the game!

SBCErikaOlson Thanks a lot for the prompt and generous reply. That certainly makes sense. I'm an Indian male with pretty high GRE score (337/340). So I guess I really don't have much to do other than wait. Your reply makes that a little easier. Thank you :)

1) IMO it doesn’t impact your chances.

2) I’ve known people with similar profile (per the stats you’ve mentioned) have received interview invites. However, I’m sure the pre-interview assessment is much more holistic and takes into consideration your essays, the type of academic and professional impact. But I’d definitely say go for it. All the best!

I received a positive response that my waiver request had been accepted and i have been granted a waiver for Gmat / Gre

I just wanted to understand better from the experts/community, is this decision neutral in terms of my final application or is it a positive because for the waiver request Ross had asked us to write a 200 word essay detailing our professional and academic achievements

Are they granting these waivers to most of the people ??

I am confused as to how to view this??

Thanks in advance for your response

Has anyone received a GMAT waiver reject?

Or is the school only sending out accepted waivers and will send rejects after the target deadline?
