5 Days | 10 Passages | Win Prizes | Get Better at GMAT
GMAT Club RC Mini Marathon Starts on Monday, Oct 04!
Why?
Let's conquer Reading Comprehension together! Participate in this competition and get your RC skills polished alongside winning some valuable prizes.
How it works:
- Every day we will post 2 passages for the participants to attempt them and post explanations
- Questions will be posted at 8 am Pacific Time
- The competition will start on October 4 through October 8 for five days
Prize for Winners
- The first three positions will get GC Tests for 3 months
- 4th and 5th positions will get GC Forum Quiz subscription for 3 months or GC Tests for 1 Month
Competition Rules
- The questions will be posted in competition mode for 1 day so members cannot see other member’s posts or replies.
- Members who post explanations will be considered for the competition to win the prize.
- Copy-paste explanations (if any) will not be accepted and posts will be deleted.
- Explanations must be comprehensive, the reasoning why wrong answers are wrong and why the correct answers are correct should be there.
- A winner needs to explain all questions of at least 5 RCs to win a prize.
- This master thread will be updated daily so bookmark this thread and keep visiting it to get the new questions and updates

First of all let me thank all of you for participating in this competition.
I have announced the winners officially. I would love to say that there is NO LOSER here at all, any person who stepped in for the knowledge is the WINNER. So all those who participated are the winners. I understand that the motive behind participating in the event might not just to win the prize but sharpen your RC skills and to get the experience of solving RC. I hope this event will help you in your RC preparation.
Let me appreciate 800gal Gaudapada c93liu RohitSaluja and SomeOneUnique the consistency with which you guys went throughout the competition, I hope it has helped you make your stamina for this dry section of the GMAT. Below is the summary of the Prizes. Please feel free to PM me when you want to get the GC tests access. You can get access to your prize at any time within three months
I have one request to you, please go to the main thread and format your explanations properly (I think a few members need it). A lot of members will visit these questions and will read your explanations later on, to avoid any confusion I think it is good to remove the wrong ones. You can take your time and can do this in the next few days. You have put in a lot of time writing these explanations so they deserve respect (In form of Kudos) and the members will definitely give kudos when they read the right explanation.
I have updated the sources from which I have taken all these questions, I have also updated the topics' names according to the forum rules.
What up next?
I will highly encourage and recommend the top five of you to help other members on the RC forum by answering their questions because you all have a definite potential to add value to the forum.
I have also prepared a post-competition survey form, I will really appreciate it if you spend your 2 minutes answering a few questions, below is the link to the survey form.
