Hi
dvnielng,
It also does not hurt to do some of your own networking. MBA students LOVE to talk in general, and they especially like to talk when it comes to an application process that clearly worked in their favor.
You can also go through mutual friends, if any exist. They are usually happy to provide introductions to their friends who are pursuing their MBAs.
If you are feeling extra ambitious, you can reach out to students directly. Perhaps there's a school organization or club that interests you? Why not reach out to one of the officers of that club? That would also show the admissions committee you made an effort to go that one step further to explore your interests on campus.
If you are thinking of applying and need more help with creative strategies to demonstrate your interest to Wharton or other schools, please reach out!
Best,
Seth
