Inputs & Choices Overview:
Background: based on your own judgement, how do you think your background will be perceived by the admissions committee? There are differentiators that make one's profile more or less diverse. For example an Indian male engineer is likely highly over-represented whereas a New Zealand Engineer is likely under-represented and a Military Applicant with Special Forces designation is likely under-represented or Unique in their background. Examples:
Undergrad Prestige in Your Country: - are there regular applicants to the MBA programs of your choice from your Undergraduate institution?
Age: This is age at the time of matriculation
Work Experience: This is your work experience at the time of matriculation
Reapplicant: If you are a reapplicant with a significant change in your application such as a difference of GMAT score that's 40 points or more AND additional changes such as using help with admissions or meaningful promotion in this application season, please select NO
How does it work?
There is a short and a long version of the tool. You could technically fill out just the GMAT/Background information. In that case, the tool assumes AVERAGE values for all other answers. To get the most precise answers/estimates, please answer every question. We have been working for a few years on a project that has been a brain-child of souvik101990 and I am glad we are finally at the stage that we can release and share it. Please give it a try and share what you think - appreciate any comments/feedback.

Does it work for PT, EMBA, Weekend MBA?
Not yet. This tool only works for FT MBA Admissions.
Is this tool Perfect?
Ha. No. It is based on historical data but it is not perfect for every case. This is likely a case that explains the 80% of data and then has 20% outliers.

- Heavily over-represented: Indian IT Males
- Somewhat over-represented: Indian non IT applicants and SE Asian Applicants

Hi, this is a 'what are my chances', kind of query.
I have a low GPA with 70% in 10th, 70% in 12th(commerce), 50% in Bcom from delhi university (phew!) & 70% in PG diploma In marketing communications. Overall my Gpa is below average.
I have been preparing for gmat & have scored a 700 in official mocks. I should be able to score around 720+ by the time i write the test.
I have 7 years of work experience in multitudes of marketing roles (with advertising, digital marketing & brand strategy consulting) ,with Brand strategy as predominant work. Currently working in an ad agency as a Brand strategy director.
Have a an award for first place in a media campaign contest from my time in my PG diploma.
Have been part of a team which has been awarded Cannes lion gold for an ad campaign, in 2019.
Out side of work,
- I have been pro-bono consulting with a fairly new NGO for girl children, for the past year. Have helped in creating their marketing approach.
- Have been associated with a Environmental NGO since 2009 & led almost 30 treks across Uttrakhand & Himcha; to clean the mountain garbage.
Have won CBSE nationals in basket ball during my 12th standard days
- Have served as a hostel captain for a year in my 3rd year of graduation in Delhi where I was responsible for welfare, catering, sports & debates.
- Have recently started advising a Fashion start-up, in their brand strategy, which drop ships silk apparel to US & EU markets.
- Have a been training in martial arts for the past 3 years & have competed in local events & won a couple of them
- For the past year, I have been part of a training program for women to help them learn self defense.
While I am aware my GPA is a red flag for top b schools, and the evaluator app clearly shows LBS as low probability for me, how impossible are my chances at LBS, Said Oxford, Insead? And should i even consider applying to these colleges.
Sorry for the long post by I have been losing sleep over this & any advice will be helpful.

Also, your high school grades don’t count. I see a lot of people including them and I keep wondering why… Is it college related somehow?
